Lorie
Dental Assistant Level II (Lead Surgical Assistant), CPR-AED certified, DAANCE certificate, ACLS Certified, Anesthesia Assistant

I have been a Dental Assistant for 30 years. My background includes several years in General Dentistry and 18 years in a Periodontal practice. I have been working at Provincial Oral Surgery since it opened in August 2009. Everyday proves to be challenging but rewarding, not a day goes by when I can say I didn’t strive to put my best foot forward. The best part of my job is working with talented team members and contributing to the health and wellness of each patient.

In my spare time I enjoy running, walking my dog and spending time with family and friends.

Assisting has been a great career for me. I have had many opportunities and experiences in my 26 years as a Dental Assistant. I enjoy learning new things. One of the most rewarding things for me is providing the best care for our patients, making their experience a good experience here at Provincial Oral Surgery.

I came to Provincial Oral Surgery looking for a challenge. I graduated with honours from Dental Assisting in Victoria, British Columbia. I have been at Provincial Oral surgery since February 2011. My position as Surgical Assistant is exciting and gratifying. I feel that I am contributing to the growth of Provincial Oral Surgery.

When I am not working I thoroughly enjoy cooking, traveling, and going to the gym.

I have been a Dental Assistant for 16 years. I have always enjoyed working with patients one on one and being part of the difference dental treatment can make in a patient’s life. I started working at Provincial Oral surgery June 2016. I was looking for a new challenge and experience. Being part of Provincial Oral Surgery has been very rewarding.

I love spending time with family and friends as well as playing volleyball and baseball in my free time.

I have many years of administrative experience and have been working at Provincial Oral Surgery since November 2009. I enjoy being part of the office as it grows to meet the needs of the patients we serve. It is a continuous learning experience which makes each and everyday enjoyable. If you have any questions regarding our office, I would be more than happy to answer them for you or seek out the appropriate person who can.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, crocheting and participating in running events when time and training permit.
